Originally from Windham, Maine, Benedetto is an actor and action performer based in Atlanta, GA. Benedetto is a graduate of Elon University's BFA Acting program and a registered Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors. On stage, Benedetto can currently be found at The Mountainside Theatre in Cherokee, NC, performing the title role in Havoc Movement Company's production of Dracula: The Failings of Men. This summer, Benedetto participated in the revitalization of the Lost Colony in Manteo, NC, with all new design and direction by Jeff Whiting. Pre-Pandemic, Benedetto wrapped a production of Coleman Domingo's Dot, Directed by Kenny Leon. The run initially concluded at Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre in Atlanta, but after critical acclaim, it received an additional run off broadway at the Billie Holiday Theatre in Brooklyn. Other recent credits include work on stage in Synchronicity Theatre's Hobbit as Thorin Oakenshield, and on-site at Serenbe Playhouse in their production of Narnia, spinning fire as Aslan the Lion. On the screen, Benedetto appeared in Episode 9 of the first season of the New CW show BLACK LIGHTNING, entitled "The Book of Little Black Lies".
DRACULA: The Failings of Men
Open October 1st, Havoc Movement Company's newest endeavor is Dracula: The Failings of Men, an original adaptation of Bram Stoker's text by Benedetto Robinson. In collaboration with the Unto These Hills outdoor drama in Cherokee, NC, the project will run October 1st-31st. In it, Benedetto will debut the title Role. Promotional material to come.
