Benedetto is currently living in Atlana, GA. To get in touch, see the Contact Page- it's available here, or at the top of this window. In the mean time, Benedetto's dancing, playing way too many video games, going climbing on the weekends, and trying to have the best time of it.
In North Carolina, Benedetto has worked with the Southern Appalachian Historical Association and the Carolina Ballet. In January of 2015, he worked with The National Theatre of Scotland on their touring production of Dunsinane. Now, as a resident of Atlanta, GA, he's had the opportunity to work on stage in Native Son and Hamlet with Marietta's New Theatre in the Square, in Changing Tides with Magari Theatre Company, A Midsummer Night's Dream with Magnificent Bastard's Sh!t-Faced Shakespeare, on screen with GASM Media in their new web series Dice Lords, and most recently with The Alliance Theatre At Woodruff in Shakespeare in Love.
Growing up in Maine just a short hour's drive from the mountains and the sea allowed Benedetto to develop a love for the water and for the cliffside. He has a passion and appreciation for climbing, both traditional and gym-based, and his favorite way to spend his leisure time on a Friday afternoon is suspended above the floor of the bouldering section at the Stone Summit, a local rock gym in Atlanta.
The odd weekend he finds a way to make it out to the dance floor or to a hiking trail, but more often than not he's at home eating Pringles.
Benedetto became an active member of the Elon University Flight of the Phoenix Ballroom Dance Team, competing at four regional ballroom competitions including the Triangle Open, the Mid-Atlantic Championships, and the Charlotte DanceSport Challenge. While competing only during the 2012-2013 Season, he remained an active member of the club and of the team throughout his time at Elon, returning to take classes in the Hustle, the Viennese Waltz, the Bachata, the Salsa and the Samba, and even to teach classes in the Waltz, the Cha Cha, and the Tango.
Originally from Windham, Maine, Benedetto is a graduate of Elon University's BFA Acting program. Through Elon he travelled to Arezzo, Italy and studied the Italian Commedic Tradition under renowned practitioner and longtime teacher Fabio Mangolini. He has spent time in New York City studying at the Stella Adler Studio in downtown Manhattan and is a registered Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, having been certified with recommendation in all eight of their major weapon styles. Test videos for each of those weapons are available on request, which can be made here.
